What is CranioSacral Therapy?

How does CST work?
CranioSacral refers to the cranium at the top of the spine and the sacrum located at the base of the spine. The spinal chord is encased in a series of membranes to which the bones attach. Cerebral spinal fluid circulates within this system creating a pulse-like rhythm that is tracked by the therapist who monitors this rhythm to pinpoint the source of an obstruction or stress. Once a source has been located, the therapist assists the natural movement of the fluid and related soft tissue to help the body self-correct.
